Library holdings are currently:-

 #   over 1,200 books  (many are rare & 'out-of-print' Genealogical Indexes),

#   more than 1,500 Journals & Magazines (from Qld, Interstate and International Family History Societies), 

#   3,000 microfiche, 

#   600 Data CD's, 

#   100 Reels of Microfilm, 

#   600 Cadastral Maps of Qld and a number of other maps of both Qld and other States of Australia, 

#   historical photographs, mainly of Caloundra area and Sunshine Coast.

We also have received a painting of the first hotel built in Caloundra, Alders Hotel, built approximately 1886.  This painting needs restoration and is an important part of the history of the local area.

Our library is located in the building we share with the Girl Guides at:-

Arthur Street, CALOUNDRA, and is open

Thursday 9:30am-4pm (except 3rd Thursday)

Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm
