Registrar General Dept etc as well as local historians and speakers on
Scrapbooking, Publishing, and War Records etc. We advertise our General Meetings

Community
Work
We
are engaged in a wide range of Community Work which involves
libraries, education for primary, secondary, mature age and senior students.
We have had a strong working relationship
with Caloundra City Libraries. In the
past our group has provided
assistance to members of the public in the
Genealogy Room at the Library. The Genealogy Room now is an integral
part of the Caloundra City Council Library with
resources and records available to members of
the public for their own genealogy
research.
Members of the Group speak at other
Community Groups, Schools etc regarding how to
research a Family Tree and collect information,
as there is a growing community interest in
family history research.
We hold Seminars on a regular basis for
our Members and members of the local
community.
These Seminars cover areas of interest
for research purposes.
Beginner Lessons on how to start
researching your family tree and Advanced
Lessors are also conducted by members and these
are well
attended.
